Hello, sugar sand
26 miles of Gulf coast in South Walton, strung together by 16 beach towns, a paved bike trail, and the kind of emerald water people fly across oceans to see.
Scenic Highway 30A traces the curve of the Gulf in South Walton, Florida, between Destin and Panama City Beach. What makes it unlike anywhere else: sugar-white quartz sand washed down from the Appalachians, water that turns a literal shade of emerald in the summer, and 15 rare coastal dune lakes scattered between the dunes and the gulf.
The communities along 30A — Seaside, WaterColor, Alys, Rosemary, Grayton, Seagrove, Inlet, Prominence — each have their own personality, but the through-line is walkability. Park the car, grab a bike or golf cart, and you can spend a week without ever sitting in traffic.
Our 30A homes sit on or steps from the beach, in communities chosen for that easy-living feel. Pack flip-flops, a swimsuit, and an appetite — we'll handle the rest.
